Once again Delta Theta Phi will host the Eat-a-thon to raise money for I-CARE!  The 6th Annual Eat-a-thon will be at People's on Court on Thursday, October 20, 2011.

The 6th Annual Eat-A-Thon is Here!

When:      Thursday, October 20, 2011, 8pm

Where:     People's on Court, Downtown Des Moines, Iowa

What:       A chicken-wing eating competition and fundraiser.

A What?: 15 minutes of fury, wherein 12 Drake law students and alumni compete to eat the most chicken wings. 

                Before the competition, each contestant gathers pledges for each wing she or he will eat--like a walk-a-thon.

                Oh, and each year we throw in a few surprises to make it interesting.

Why?       To raise funds to make the world a better place, including funding a healthcare advocate for impoverished

                cancer patients, and voluntourism and rule-of-law projects in Nicaragua.
